The Edit Class dialog allows you to modify your class settings, including the class name and description. Most importantly, you can check the "Master Course" box to convert your class into a reusable template that can be copied for future semesters, and optionally share it with other instructors by enabling "Share as Global Master."

Enable master course

The master course checkbox is enabled, which allows this course template to be copied to new semesters with all assignments intact. A tooltip explains that master courses can be duplicated for future use, and there's an additional option to share the master course globally with other teachers.

After copying a course, you'll be redirected back to the dashboard where the loading screen appears. The master courses will now display as distinct cards on your dashboard, making it easy to differentiate them from regular course sections.
