How to create a new coding assignment with starter code for your class

Navigate to your class

Open the class

Click Create Assignment
A "New Assignment" dialog box appears with fields for configuring the assignment, including title, type (set to "Code"), description, programming language, starter code, files, and deadline. The form includes checkboxes for network access and student visibility, with "Visible to students" checked by default. Teachers can customize these settings before clicking the "Create" button to finalize the assignment.
