Add a line annotation

To add a line annotation, click on any line number in the code editor (like line 1 shown here with the blue circle). Your annotation will appear in a popup bubble next to the line and be tracked in the "Line Annotations" section on the right sidebar. Line annotations allow you to provide targeted feedback on specific parts of a student's code.

Write a general note

The teacher has entered feedback in the General Note section, which provides overall comments on the student's submission. The blue highlight indicates this general feedback will be visible to the student, offering a way to give comprehensive comments about the work's strengths and areas for improvement.
